Organization Purpose

The NSPA is committed to providing additional value to our children's experience at The New School.

Our organizatoinal purposes are to:

  • Strengthen our special school
  • Support faculty and students
  • Build our school community
  • Engage and meet other parents
  • Learn more about the New School of Northern Virginia

JOIN US! VOLUNTEER!
Through your membership with NSPA you have the opportunity to contribute to your child's success and the success of this very innovative, special and effective school. Together we organize events, bring a parent voice, and contribute ideas, time and financial support to the school community. Our contributions bring extra resources to scholarships, teacher development, student/faculty/parent activities and the long term development of the school.

We welcome your ideas, membership and participation. NSPA meetings are generally held at 7:30 on the third Wednesday of every month in the school Media Center, but be sure to check the online school calendar regularly for the most up-to-date information.

There are so many reasons why one should consider becoming part of an organization he or she believes in. We hope that you will join us as we provide exciting opportunities for growth and stimulation for both the faculty and students of The New School of Northern Virginia.

    Our mission is to further promote the interests of our organization and our members to the community. We strive to make a difference by educating the public and expanding our reach.

    Non-Profit Status

    The NSPA is a 501c(3) non profit organization. Donations to the NSPA are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed in federal law.
